Carpet Bowls Club
Formed in 1991 by Mr S Jenkins, President of Ferring
Sports & Leisure Association, the Club has 83 members and is situated in The
Barn, behind the Catholic Church on Goring Road. We play seven sessions weekly
and everyone wanting to join in is made very welcome. Carpet bowls use
3+7/8th woods on a 30ft carpet.

Christian Aid
Christian Aid began by helping refugees in Europe aftr the Second World War
and now works in about 60 ountries where the need is greatest, helping people
regardless of race or religion.
The tapestry represents the official Christian Aid logo and
was worked by the Christian Aid Committee of St. Andrews, Ferring. |

Church Army
The Church Army has been partnering the church in evangelism for over 100
years. It was started in 1882 by the Rev. Wilson Carlile, a young curate at St.
Mary Abbots, Kensington. It seeks to bring the gospel to all, especially those
disadvantaged by age - "Sharing faith through words and action".
A small group in Ferring hold coffee mornings to raise money
to support the work of the Church Army here and overseas. The Church logo was worked by Nancy Taylor.

Worthing) - Ferring Branch.
The Conservative Association has a large following in Ferring.
