Ferring and District WI Market
Established on 14th July 1976 in the Old Ferring School Hall, it provides an
opportunity for the sale of home-made goods such as cakes, plants, flowers and
crafts. The Market entered a float in the Jubilee Celebrations in 1977 which
caused quite a stir!
The Market moved to the Ferring Village Hall in 1980 and soon
laid to rest the local traders' fears that their business would be affected -
the Market producers shop locally and everyone is happy! The Market
opens on Wednesday mornings from 10.00 to 11.00 a.m. |
