Recorded Music Society
The Ferring Recorded Music Society was formed in
October 1965. Its aim was to stimulate interest in, and appreciation of, music,
through the recorded medium. At fortnightly intervals, individual members
present programs of classical music. The square was designed and worked by Miss
Shirley West. |

Residents and Owners Association
The Ferring Residents & Owners Association is a volunteer organization
responsible for the maintenance of all adopted road surfaces in Ferring.
The association also cares for eight gardening sites in the
village.
The tapestry was designed and worked by Julie Hill.

Retirement Club
The Ferring Retirement Club was founded about 21 years
ago by Ben & Lillian Philips, to facilitate friendship and help the elderly
in every possible way.
Activities: choir, bowls, keep fit, table tennis,
gardening, Bridge, etc., and lunches.
The tapestry square was designed by and worked by Pam Hall. |

Royal British Legion
The Ferring branch of the British Legion was founded in 1933. Its aims are to
promote the welfare of ex servicemen and women and their dependants, whether
members of the Legion or not. The members are always welcome and non-service
people can join as associate members. The Legion meets on the third Monday each
month at 3:15 p.m. in the Henty Arms, Ferring.
The square was designed and worked by Derek Harris, the
